ABOUT THE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

The College of Health Sciences is a private higher education institution established in 2014 by the decree number 434/2015 of the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Professional Training. 

• The College imparts quality education in the following domains of health sciences:
• Nursing sciences
• Physical therapy
• Speech and language therapy
• Psychomotricity
• Dietetics and nutrition
• Public health and health administration

The College is a member of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region and a partner of the City University of New York. It offers modern curricula in full compliance with the European Higher Education Framework as well as the higher education norms in the United States.

MISSION OF THE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

The College of Health Sciences is dedicated to education, search for knowledge, academic excellence, and service to the profession.
The College strives to generate, disseminate and apply knowledge in health disciplines, aiming at prevention of disease, promotion of health, elimination of health disparities and improving health system performance.

To achieve this mission, the College aims to:

• Educate students for professional careers in health disciplines through graduate and post-graduate programs.
• Enhance knowledge and skills of health workforce through continuing education, distance learning, and technical assistance;
• Conduct research studies pertinent to the recognition, characterization, and resolution of priority health problems.
• Provide managerial, programmatic, and technical support in the delivery and evaluation of health services; and
• Create an environment that supports excellence in learning, research, and service.

VISION OF THE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

The College of Health Sciences strives to become the leading institution in Morocco for professional education in health sciences and to be recognized as the center of excellence for education, research and services.

To achieve this vision, the College works to become:

• The largest institution for education in health sciences in Morocco in terms of enrolment, coverage of disciplines and offer degree programs.
• The leading research institution in health sciences in Morocco in terms of volume and quality of research, partnerships in research and publication in peer reviewed journals.
• The leading institution in Morocco in advocacy for health as indicated by participation in national and global public health forums, networks and alliances.
• The leading consulting think tank of the nation in the field of public health.
