The College of health sciences prepares to launch the admission for the second batch of students in the German program. While the program shall be open to all categories of health professions, a special emphasis of this year admission shall placed on nurses and auxillary nurses in geriatrics. This category has been defined by employers in Germany as absolute and urgent priority.
The German program aims to provide the opportunity through education for professional integration in the German health system. It was launched in 2019 as an initiative of the College of Health Sciences in partnership :

The undergraduate German program in health sciences
Enrollment in this program will be open to candidates holding a high school leaving certificate in accordance with the admission criteria in force for various academic programs at the College of Health Sciences.
Admitted students will take intensive German courses throughout the first academic year of the program. In accordance with the standards of higher education in Germany, students will have to pass the B2 level examination. Language courses will be provided by the Goethe Institute at the premises of the College of Health Sciences. In addition, during this first academic year, students will study the modules constituting the curriculum of their academic program (nursing, physiotherapy, speech language pathology, psychomotility, dietetics, etc.) in French. From the second year, the entire educational program will be taught in German by professors and professionals from our partner institutions in Germany. Finally, the final study year will be entirely organized in Germany, including the clinical internships. |
The graduate component of the German program
Enrolment in this component will be open to health professionals who have a degree in health sciences (medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, speech language pathology, psychomotility, dietetics, etc.)
Admitted students will undergo intensive German language training provided by the Goethe Institute up to B2 level at the College premises. At the same time, other training activities will be organized to ameliorate professional competencies, to develop the German technical language and to familiarize students with the German work culture and health system. The last phase of the program includes a clinical internship in Germany as well as the successful completion of the state certification examination which qualifies the candidate for professional practice in Germany. |
