Taking over patient care at the COVID field hospital in Casablanca
The pandemic of COVID 19 has changed everything in our life. Loved ones are departing prematurely and more people than ever are falling sick. The health systems all over the world are strained and reaching the edge of collapse. But in these dark days there many rays of hope: vaccines are being developed and produced to prevent transmission of the killing virus and the heroes in white coats are giving all what they have to help patients.
Likewise, we in the superior school of health sciences continued to work hard in these difficult circumstances to fulfil our noble mission. Today we put at the disposal of the department of health 48 of our graduates to deliver patient care in the field hospital of Casablanca. These include 36 nurses in reanimation and 12 physiotherapists.
The field hospital of Casablanca is the main facility charged with the treatment of patients of COVID 19, operated by the Moroccan army as well as our graduates. What a pride and honor to see our daughters and sons in the frontlines participating in the national effort to control this global disaster armed with knowledge and dedication.
To prepare them for such a daunting task, they received advanced training in all aspects related to the management of COVID-19 by group of the best professors in the country who delivered their task with a lot of love and devotion to the national cause.
Today our graduates are working in 24 hours shifts to cater for the health needs of the hundreds of patients admitted to the field hospital around the clock.
Furthermore, more than 100 other graduates as well 300 students are currently deployed in other hospitals of Casablanca to provide care for patients with COVID-19 patients, including CHR Moulay Youssef, CHP Mohamed Baouafi, CHP Mohamed V, CHP Sidi Othmane, CHP Al Hassani, CHP Ben Msik, CHP Berrchid, CHP Moulay Al Hassan, and CHP Moulay Abdallah.
These young professionals have proven crucial in supporting and maintaining health services under these difficult circumstances. They bring with them a lot of energy, resilient endurance, and devotion to serve their nation. These qualities are strongly need by the continuation and the sustainability of health services nowadays.
