STRONG INCENTIVES TO ATTRACT OUR GRADUATES TO WORK IN CANADA
The College of Health Sciences (ESSS) was approached by Canadian health institutions for help in redressing the shortage of nurses. Thanks to the growing international reputation of the ESSS as a leader of quality education of nurses, the ESSS was pinpointed by candian institutions for supply of the nurses they need.
The compatibility of academic programs, the conformity of the ESSS with international nursing standards and the exceptionally high professional level of the ESSS students are among the reasons that are pushing the demand for graduates of the ESSS abroad.
Current deliberations discussed the demand of the Canadian healthcare market and identified areas for the ESSS to prioritize in its academic offer. Furthermore, an interesting incentive scheme was outlined to attract the ESSS students to work in the Canadian healthcare institutions.
